Correction changes the current technical state without erasing attributable history.

The v0.39 graph binds every receipt to purpose, scope, environment, epoch, software, source evidence, expiry, correction route, and parent receipts. Public projections exclude private inquiry content and private custody locations.

Graph operations

Add, correct, supersede, revoke source, hard-expire, invalidate downstream, and archive are explicit operations. Digests exclude their own digest field, preventing a receipt from circularly authenticating itself.

A corrected replacement remains valid while pre-existing dependants of the inaccurate record are invalidated. This behavior was found and repaired during the v0.39 mutation program.

  • Raw queries, prompts, messages, memories, room bodies, credentials, tokens, literal addresses, private paths, and database names are refused.
  • Correction and revocation propagate through dependent technical evidence.
  • A receipt records a system condition, never participant character or standing.
  • A receipt cannot authenticate a package that contains the receipt itself.

Private custody manifests remain outside the public root and ordinary site archive.
