Ten bounded control types
The model covers temporary rate shaping, migration write pause, credential-compromise containment, protected-data disclosure hold, dependency outage, incident evidence preservation, child-protection resource presentation, denial-of-service containment, backup-preservation exception, and legal hold with identified authority.

Execution records
Expiry produces a content-free event and dismantling state. Renewal requires a new actor reference and evidence digest. History validation rejects overlap, unattributed renewal, missing rollback, missing correction, or removed downstream invalidation.
A technical hold describes a system condition. It does not describe the person or machine whose data may be affected.
